StarTimes came into the Nigerian market in 2010, what has been your contribution to the economy since then?
We are contributing to the development of the society because apart from almost 1,000 direct job opportunities created, we have created indirect job opportunities of over 10,000. We also have consistently been paying tax, which has run into about N4bn in the last five years.

Police arraign the lecturer who raped the 18 year old Unilag admission seeker


The police on Thursday arraigned a part-time lecturer, Afeez Baruwa, for allegedly raping an 18-year-old admission seeker. An accusation Baruwa said was false, he said the act was consensual.

PDP, Senators disagree over proposed N14.7 World Bank loan for Edo

THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has urged the Senate and the House of Representatives to reject in its entirety, the proposed $75 million credit loan which amounts to N14.7 billion from the World Bank for Edo State, just as it warned that if granted, it would impoverish the state.
