Corps member dies in auto crash after visiting mother who survived Hajj calamity
The joy of the family of Mr Lateef Lamina, a senior sales executive officer with New Telegraph newspaper, that the wife survived the calamity that claimed hundreds of lives in Mecca during the concluded 2015 Hajj, turned to sorrow recently when the daughter, a National Youth Corps Service (NYSC) member serving in Sokoto State, died in an auto crash.

Photographer wants couples to ban smart phones at their wedding
An irate photographer has taken a shot at trigger happy guests who wield their smartphones at weddings, taking ‘crap’ pictures and ‘ruining’ official photographs. Thomas Stewart, from NSW, wrote a long rant on his Facebook page, accusing wedding guests of being too eager to flash their iPhones and iPads instead of enjoying the moment.
