Former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro arrives at court as she begins constructive dismissal case against club

Former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro arrived at an employment tribunal court on Wednesday morning for the first hearing in her legal battle with the club and Jose Mourinho.

Carneiro, supported by her new husband Jason De Carteret, is attending the private hearing before a senior judge at London South Employment Tribunal in Croydon, south London.
The former first-team doctor is claiming constructive dismissal and sex discrimination against Chelsea after she was relieved of pitch-side duties following a public row with Mourinho.
The pair clashed in August when Carneiro ran onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard. She was later described as ‘impulsive and naive’ by
Mourinho, who was sacked by the club last month.Wednesday's hearing is to allow both sides to deal with witness statements and disclose documents

The private hearing, which comes after both sides failed to reach an agreement, could last up to two hours and can see a date set for the full tribunal, most likely to be held in June.
Wednesday's hearing is to allow both sides to deal with witness statements and disclose documents, which can include emails and text messages from both before and after Carneiro was dropped as first-team doctor.
