Kano pillars dismiss 10 Players, set to sign new ones

Kano Pillars have released ten of the players and are ready to reinforce the squad with 12 fresh legs.

Sai Masu ended last season in eight position with 55 points from 38 matches a position way below their standards after ruling Nigeria for three consecutive seasons.
Media Officer of the club, Idris Malikawa told Goal that the team has resumed for the new league season and the head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru has been overseeing the club’s proceedings after two days of grueling training sessions.
“We have placed 10 players on transfer and have begun the process of adding 12 new ones,” Malikawa told Goal.
“It won’t be business as usual at all and the coaches have told them that they must shape up or get kicked out of the club.
“The position of the club in the campaign last season was unacceptable and we have started addressing the issue with the removal of players that have been deemed surplus to requirements and we are going to get new better ones that will help us realize our dreams,” Malikawa told Goal.” he concluded
Pillars will be on the continent for the first time since 2011.
