Mum saves daughter, 14, from suicide after she posts 'This is the end' on Facebook

A Mum saved her teenage daughter from committing suicide after being alerted to her desperate Facebook post which read: “This is the end”.

Sally Burke received a text message from a friend in the middle of the night to say Maisie, 14, had written the chilling social media message.

The terrified mum then burst into her bedroom to discover her trying to kill herself and was able to save her.

Now Sally, who is fighting for changes to mental health services in her hometown Hull, East Yorks., is desperate for some support to 
help her struggling daughter.

Sally is now campaigning for extra help SWNS

She said: "I feel like we're trudging through water. I'm fighting and fighting and fighting 
but there has been no support to help us go forward.

"It's just about surviving by the day."
