The African Union has suspended Burkina Faso over Thursday's military coup. The AU said sanctions would be imposed if members of the presidential guard, who staged the coup do not release members of the interim government which includes the interim president, Michel Kafondo.

Premier League team news: Man City v West Ham
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany will miss Saturday's Premier League clash with West Ham but star striker Sergio Aguero is fit.
Kompany suffered a calf injury in the midweek Champions League loss to Juventus and is also out of Tuesday's Capital One Cup tie against Sunderland, but Aguero has recovered from his knee problem.

Jose Mourinho is unequivocal in his support of Eden Hazard and has again insisted there are no fractures in relationships at Chelsea.

Four killed in Port Harcourt gas explosion
A gas explosion last night rocked River State capital Port Harcourt killing four persons.The explosion took place in a panel-beaters’ workshop at Eliozu-Port Harcourt, near the office of ABC Transport Company, on the ever-busy Easy-West Road.
