CAF Renames Competitions

The Confederation of African football (CAF) on Sunday announced its decision to harmonize the names of all its competitions involving national teams.
The Executive Committee decided to name all competitions involving national teams as Africa Cup of Nations, distinguishing them just by their particularity (i.e. gender or age group), with the exception of the African Nations Championship.
The official names of CAF competitions are:

 -Africa Cup of Nations
– African Nations Championship
– Africa Women Cup of Nations
– Africa U-23 Cup of Nations
– Africa U-20 Cup of Nations
 – Africa U-17 Cup of Nations
– Africa Beach-Soccer Cup of Nations
– Africa Futsal Cup of Nations
– CAF Champions League
– CAF Confederation Cup
