FG freezes Jonathan’s associates’ accounts
The anti-corruption campaign of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration appears to have taken a bigger bite as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has secretly frozen the bank accounts of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s associates, SUNDAY PUNCH has learnt.

Barely six days after he was involved in a car accident on his way to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Senate Minority leader and former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has broken his silence from his hospital bed, where he is currently recuperating.
According to government sources, the lawmaker, who was on Monday, earlier rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja, for urgent attention, reportedly left for the United Kingdom aboard a private jet last Tuesday.

Nigeria Will Improve In Subsequent Games – Oliseh

Delta varsity student nabbed for giving cake laced with hemp to colleague
The Police in Delta have arrested a male undergraduate of Delta State University, Abraka for allegedly given a female student cake laced with Indian hemp.Police spokesperson, DSP Celestina Kalu said in a statement issued to newsmen on Friday in Asaba, that after eating the cake, the victim started behaving abnormally and was admitted to hospital for treatment.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE (DELTA STATE)
On 3rd September, 2015 at about 7:00pm, Police Safer Highways Patrol Team covering Onitsha - Ugbo - Ewhohimi road recovered one Toyota Highlander with GWA 842 SJ steaming with the left front tyre flat as a result of puncture from gunshot.
