Nigerian sprints queen, Blessing Okagbare could only finish in second place in the women’s 100 metres final of the London Diamond League Anniversary Games.
The African record holder in the event, finished behind Dutch woman, Dafne Schippers in 10.98 seconds.
Schippers won the race in 10.92 seconds – a new national record. Cote d’Ivoire’s Muriel Ahoure came third in 11.01 seconds.
