Watford have signed goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon from Sunderland.
Pantilimon, the former Manchester City stopper, joins the Hornets on a three-year deal and will provide competition for current number one Heurelho Gomes.
The 6ft 8in Romania international started the season as Sunderland's first-choice goalkeeper but he has not played for Sam Allardyce's side since their 3-1 defeat at Chelsea on December 19 and has failed to been included in the last three squads.
A short statement on the Black Cats' website said: "Sunderland AFC would like to thank Costel and wish him the very best for the future at his new club."
