The self acclaimed Koko master, D’banj has been taking several steps to maintain his relevance in the competitive Nigerian music industry.
Though music pundits believe the music entrepreneur who clinched the evolution awards at this year’s MTV Africa Music Awards, is yet to produce any hit song, Dbanj is bent on proving his critics wrong by embarking on rebranding his image and engaging his fans more.
In order to have a much more appealing image, Dbanj has joined the likes of Timaya and 2shotz who are heavily bearded. He recently released new pictures showing off more beards than he is famous for.
The bubbly entertainer has also embarked on an online rap competition he calls The king is here focused on upcoming rappers creating a rap for the song.The winner gets to feature on the remix of the song and video.
