Nigeria's digital TV, CONSAT doles out 100,000 decoders in Ibadan

Nigerians resident in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital trooped out enmasse  to purchase set up boxes been distributed by Continental Broadcasting Services’ sister company CONSAT in its renewed effort aimed at providing qualitative and affordable digital television access to all Nigerians regardless of social stratification.

In her words, Director Information Technology and Operations Olufunmilola Adewon revealed that  part of the vision of the CONSAT was to ensure that Nigerians were are  left out of the digital switch over train and as much get access to information at the lowest price possible.
Correspondent  reports that on the streets, the conviction  amongst many Nigerians is that for you to access quality digital TV, you have to pay through your nose.
Interestingly, one of the focus of owners of this platform is to empower thousands of households, little wonder Nigerians would leave nothing to chance in their determination to take part in the promotion.
A top ranking officer in the CONSAT consortium wants Nigerians to seize this rare opportunity which is affordable and provides access Nigerians with top notch educative and entertaining viewership.
As news filtered around about the promotion, many Nigerians swooped on the venue promotion ground to catch a feel of the wonder train.
The Consat wonder train would berth in Nigerians pacesetter state for a week, organizers say they have in stock 100,000 decoders which would be distributed across major towns and cities in the week long promo which is sure to put a smile on the faces of many Nigerians.
