August 8: Mourinho criticised Chelsea first-team doctor Eva Carneiro and physiotherapist Jon Fearn for naivety in running on to the field to treat Eden Hazard in the opening-day draw with Swansea.
Mourinho was cleared by the Football Association of abusing Carneiro, who then subsequently left Chelsea.

August 16: Chelsea lose 3-0 away to Manchester City and were completely played off the park. Mourinho even subbed John Terry at half-time after a dismal performance.
However, Mourinho bamboozled press and fans alike by claiming that Chelsea played very well adding: "We dominated and when they feel they are in trouble, and they felt, they changed Aguero and Sterling.
"They try to recover control of the game exactly when they scored the second goal. Their goalkeeper was good and we couldn't score. They were only coming up with long balls."
Chelsea had to wait until the 70th minute for their first shot on target.

October 31: Mourinho's team is beaten 3-1 at home by Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.
The Portuguese manager then gives an astonishing post-match interview on live television where he answered pretty much every question with the same answer: "I have nothing to say."

November 2: Mourinho is given a one-match stadium suspension with immediate effect and fined £40,000 after admitting an FA charge of misconduct over his behaviour at West Ham. The FA then released its written reasons for Mourinho's ban, saying he called referee Jon Moss ''f****** weak''.

December 14: Mourinho's last match in charge of Chelsea was the defeat to Leicester and he made sure he had a parting shot in his post-match interview.
"One of my best qualities is to read the game for my players and I feel like my work was betrayed," said Mourinho.
"One possibility is that I did an amazing job last season and brought the players to a level that is not their level and now they can't maintain it."
So it was all the players' fault then, Jose?
