Manchester City 0 – 0 Dynamo Kyiv

The Premier League side were held to a goalless draw by the Ukrainian outfit at the Etihad Stadium, a result that was enough to send them through to the quarter-finals

Manchester City reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time after a 0-0 draw with Dynamo Kyiv.
The goalless second leg at the Etihad Stadium was enough for City, who triumphed 3-1 in Ukraine in the first game between the sides, to progress to the last eight.
First-half injuries suffered by centre-backs Vincent Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi took the gloss off City’s success somewhat, but Manuel Pellegrini will be delighted to have guided the club beyond the first knockout round in his final season at the helm
