Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct in relation to media comments he made after Saturday's 3-1 defeat against Southampton, the Football Association has announced.
Mourinho claimed that officials were afraid to give decisions in Chelsea's favour during an emotionally charged and lengthy post-match interview.
Earlier this afternoon, Chelsea released a statement offering Mourinho their full support despite the club languishing in 16th spot after eight matches, ten points behind Man City.
