Kidnappers invaded the residence of the victim on Monday and whisked him away in his SUV along Kwale road.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Celestina Kalu, who confirmed the kidnap, said: “On receipt of information about the incident, a combined team of policemen and soldiers quickly mobilized and gave the hoodlums a hot pursuit, and in the ensuing gun duel, one of the kidnappers yet to be identified, was gunned down, while others escaped with bullet wounds into the bush.”
