The anchor of CNN African Marketplace, Zain Asher, undoubtedly has an eloquent jaws when it comes to speaking English. But many didn’t know she also has the ability to fluently speak her local dialect, Igbo.
When asked during an interview if she does consider herself a Nigerian, she said: “I’m 100% Nigerian.” To back it up, she reached out to her viewers in Igbo. Asher was born in the UK but had two years of schooling in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria. She is a sister to actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor
