Fegor Ogude's wife kidnapped in warri

Nigeria midfielder Fegor Ogude's wife was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Warri, Delta Sate on Monday night.

The former Warri Wolves midfielder, who currently plies his trade in Russia for Amkar Perm, disclosed that his wife, Maimunat Ogude, went out with their children, just to get a call from the police that his car had been found in another town without his wife.
“I wasn’t home yesterday. My wife Maimunat Ogude went out with my kids. Barely two hours that I left the house, my younger brother Ogaga called me to say that some armed men came to the house to take my wife away,” Ogude was quoted by The Cable.
“I was told that they threw my kids out of the car and just took my wife in my car.
“Immediately I heard this, I had to go to the police station to report this. And after making the report, I tried tracing them to see if by chance I could get the direction they went to, but I could not.
“At about 8pm last night, I got a call from the police that my car had been found in Ughelli, but no words yet from the kidnappers. I don’t know the state in which my wife is since last night,” he concluded.
A few of NIgeria sports personalities have suffered kidnaps in recent years with the Nigeria U23 coach Samson Siasia’s mother being a  recent victim in November 2015. Chelsea’s John
Obi Mikel saw his father kidnapped in 2011. Former Super Eagles midfielder Chris Obodo was also kidnapped in 2012.
