Former Super Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo has expressed his feelings over the death of Ibrahim Abubakar, the chief protocol officer of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
Abubakar was shot dead by armed robbers in his Abuja home in the early hours of Wednesday.
Reacting to the incident, on his Twitter handle, @papilokanu, wrote, “You can witch hunt or try to put people down or bring the name they worked for down or any other bad thing, but it is bad to take someone’s life.
“Very bad and sad news that our good friend, the Nigeria football federation chief protocol was shot dead in his home.
“Ibrahim Abubakar, RIP,” Kanu wrote.
