A TODDLER died in hospital after her insides were burned by the tiny battery she unknowingly swallowed.
Tragic Brianna Florer from Oklahoma died in hospital on Boxing Day after she swallowed a small push battery at some point over the previous week.
Her distraught grandfather, Kent Vice, told Oklahoma newspaper Tulsa World: “On Saturday she was fine. It was a perfect Christmas.”
But the two-year-old was at her grandparent’s house in Oklahoma when her skin turned blue and she began throwing up blood.Brianna was rushed to hospital but it was too late for doctors to save her
The grieving family is trying to raise $7,500 (£5,000) to pay for Brianna’s funeral.
A post on GoFundMe said: “Please find it in your heart to donate money to help pay for this sweet little angels funeral expenses as the family will need time to heal from such a tragedy and will be missing some work ect. But most of all please add them to your prayers.”
