New Ooni Of Ife Takes Second Wife?

Since yesterday, January 5, rumours have been going round that the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has taken a new bride.

The rumour speculated one Princess Ronke Ademiluyi as the new bride.

However, the news has been said to be untrue as sources close to the handsome Ooni have said that the new monarch is too focused for such.

Refuting the rumour, the Ooni’s personal assistant, Folabi Da Silva said:

“Ooni Ogunwusi maintains a cordial business relationship with Ronke Ademiluyi who is also a princess from Ile Ife and their interests are strictly professional and there is no basis for such rumors of a relationship between the two.

 Palace sources close to the king have it on good authority that the Ooni is completely focused on youth empowerment and several lofty programs and ideas that will be beneficial to the entire youth of Ife and the country.

Just recently, pastor Williams Folorunsho Kumuyi, the general superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, recently paid a visit to the newly crowned Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and gave him a very important message.

The new Ooni of Ife was presented with the staff of office and instrument of appointment on Monday, December 7.

The event attracted prominent traditional rulers from all nook and crannies who came to celebrate the new entrance into the fold of royal fathers in the country.

Politicians were not left out as three governors from the southwest joined the host Governor Rauf Aregbesola for the historic event that last took place 35-years ago when the new Ooni was only five years old .
