Osinbajo may take over from Buhari in 2019 – APC chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, Salihu Isa Nataro, has hinted that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, is the right person to take over from President Muhammdu Buhari, if he chooses not to seek re-election in 2019.

Addressing newsmen in Birnin Kebbi over the weekend, Nataro pleaded with President Buhari to give his deputy more responsibilities in critical areas.

Nataro, who was a gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the APC in 2015, urged the president to carry his vice along.

“Osinbajo, whom I see to be a possible replacement of Muhammadu Buhari is very active and understands the president more than any member of the cabinet. We must be proud of this co-operation to reconstruct Nigeria,” Nataro said.
