Wada leaves for Saudi, thanks Kogi people

The immediate past governor of Kogi state, Captain Idris Wada, has expressed his gratitude to all indigenes and other residents of the state for the hands of fellowship his government enjoyed while in office, just as he encouraged them to remain orderly and law abiding.

This was contained in a statement issued in Lokoja by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Jacob Edi, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.
According to the statement, the former governor was away from the country to the Holy land through Aminu Kano International Air port, Abuja, ‎after a successful political transition in the state.
While in Saudi Arabia, the former governor, said to be in a high spirit, will continue in the familiar path of prayer, the pursuit of truth and spiritual edification, adding that he is expected back in Nigeria in three weeks.
