Manchester City have lost winger Jesus Navas ahead of their Premier League clash against leaders Leicester at the Etihad Stadium.
The Spaniard faces a minimum of three weeks out with a hamstring injury suffered in the midweek win at Sunderland.
Captain Vincent Kompany (calf) is making encouraging progress but is not yet fit to return. Defender Eliaquim Mangala (hamstring), midfielders Kevin De Bruyne (knee/ankle) and Samir Nasri (thigh), plus striker Wilfried Bony (shin), remain on the sidelines.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri will assess the fitness of recent signing Daniel Amartey before deciding if he will be involved for the first time in at Manchester City.
Amartey joined the Premier League leaders on January 23 but has yet to make the squad, having last played a competitive game for former club FC Copenhagen at the start of December because of the winter break.
The Ghana international's versatility - he was signed mainly as a central midfielder but can also play at centre-back and right-back - is the reason Ranieri has allowed Ritchie De Laet and Yohan Benalouane to go out on loan. Only Matty James (knee) and Jeff Schlupp (hamstring) will definitely be absent for Leicester.
Provisional squads
Man City: Hart, Caballero, Sagna, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Otamendi, Clichy, Kolarov, Toure, Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph, Silva, Sterling, Aguero, Iheanacho, Humphreys, Celina, Barker, Garcia.
Leicester: Schmeichel, Schwarzer, Simpson, Chilwell, Fuchs, Wasilewski, Huth, Morgan, King, Drinkwater, Kante, Amartey, Albrighton, Inler, Gray, Mahrez, Dyer, Vardy, Ulloa, Okazaki.
