Adele announces details of European tour after smashing first-week sales records

Adele has announced details of an upcoming Europe-wide tour, after teasing fans that she might choose to stay close to home instead of hitting the road.

In a video posted to Twitter, she confessed to "bluffing" to her fans so far - and said she was "so relieved" to finally reveal details.
"I can't wait to see all of you there," she added.
It comes as it emerged Adele has now smashed first-week sales records on both sides of the Atlantic with the release of new album 25.
She has sold more than 700,000 copies since it hit the shelves, making it the fastest-selling UK album in history - beating previous title holders Oasis, who sold 696,000 with Be Here Now in 1997.
She has also claimed the title in the US, with more than 2.43 million sales - beating NSync's 2.42m first-week sales for No Strings Attached in 2000.
