NSCDC warns staff against corruption

Commandant of the Nigeria Security & Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kaduna State Command, Alhaji Modu Bunu has urged officers tasked with the responsibility of prosecuting state offences not to compromise in their duties.

Bunu gave the charge when he declared open a training programme organized for the personnel at the State Headquarters of the corps in Kaduna.
According to him, the decision to come-up with a sound training for the officers to be able to execute fiat in the state was taken to ensure that NSCDC personnel charged with such statutory mandate perform satisfactorily.
He remarked that in order to serve the country better, the command had in the past sought the permission of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for justice to prosecute state offences, hence the granting of fiat recently.
