Siasia thanks Nigerians after mother’s release

Nigeria U-23s coach Samson Siasia has expressed his joy following the release of his mother Mrs Ogere Siasia, who was kidnapped two weeks ago.

The release of Siasia’s mother was confirmed by the family and the police on Saturday.
According to thenff.com, an elated Siasia thanked everyone who showed support, promising to qualify Nigeria for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
“Words can’t express how I feel, all I want to say here is thank you to all Nigerians especially the NFF who stood by me amd my family in our trying times. It has not been easy but by His grace we have overcome,” Siasia said.
