This was inevitable when Chelsea and Arsenal played off today, even before the antics of Diego Costa and sending off of Gabriel Paulista.
In the aftermath of Chelsea’s 2-0 win, thanks to goals from Kurt Zouma and Eden Hazard, which also included a red card handed out to Santi Cazorla, the majority of memes and photoshops centred on Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans crying.
Following that came the ones glorifying Jose Mourinho’s excellent record against Arsene Wenger.
Mourinho may have lost the Community Shield in August but in the Premier League, The Special One is undoubtedly top dog in London.
Finally, there are plenty of Diego Costa memes and photoshops. Some involving his new book and others that castigate the Spanish Brazilian-born striker.
