POLICE STOP AND SEARCH TEAM INTERCEPTS GENERATOR SETS SUSPECTED STOLEN FROM TELCOM SITE
On 10th September, 2015 Police Stop and Search team along Benin - Lagos Expressway accosted a Lorry truck Reg No AKW 530 XA conveying two (2) giant Mikano Generator sets and sixteen (16) heavy duty batteries.
The driver could not provide any satisfactory account of how he came about the items which are suspected to be property of a Telecom service provider and illegally removed from the company's site. The 36yrs-old driver was arrested and items recovered to the station
