Serena beats sister Venus to keep Grand Slam dream alive
Serena Williams defeated her sister Venus to reach the semi-finals of the US Open - and keep her quest for a calendar Grand Slam on track.
The world number one overcame her sibling 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 to march through as she aims to become the first player since Steffi Graf in 1988 to win all four major tournaments.
Serena will now face Italian Roberta Vinci for a place in the final.
