Manchester United had to rely on a 90th-minute penalty from Wayne Rooney to overcome Sheffield United in the FA Cup third round on Saturday in yet another turgid display from the 20-time champions.
To the surprise of no-one the score was goalless at half-time, with United fans not seeing a first-half goal scored in favour of their team since September 30, as £250 million worth of talent toiled once again.It was all too much for one fan who slowly slumped into a snooze during the game, as Twitter user @irishgaz75 caught on camera, who found the backs of his eyelids more interesting than Louis van Gaal's philosophy.

With the video captioned "This is how bad old Trafford is #boring #howweallfeel", the Old Trafford crowd were treated to just two shots on target against the League One oufit, with the first coming in the 72nd minute.
