Ooni urges unity among Yorubas

The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has advised Yorubas across the country to close ranks and work together for the development of the race.
Oba Ogunwusi posited that Yoruba race has not taken its rightful place in the political and economical sectors of the country in view of its intellectual power and material resources due to disunity among the people occasioned by political differences among other sundry issues.
The royal father gave the advice at the weekend when members of the Afenifere Renewal Group, led by its national chairman, Hon Wale Oshun, paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Ile Ife, Osun State and assured that he would pursue the unity of Yoruba people with vigour during his reign.
