Premier League side Manchester United have announced a 26.6 per cent rise in second quarter revenue.
The increase was aided by commercial revenues of £66.1 million up 42.5% for the quarter.Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was pleased with the results, but claimed success on the pitch was the ultimate goal.

United announced in their second-quarterly financial results on Thursday that they expect
revenue for the year to hit £500-510million. No British club in history has recorded such a
figure.
