Bayelsa guber: Police ban procession, rallies

The Bayelsa State Police Command announced Monday morning that it has banned all forms of procession, rallies or demonstrations in the state.

The police ban on procession came as collation of results of the state governorship election from the local government areas entered day two on Monday.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) in charge of security in the state governorship poll, Hashimu Argungu, and made available to newsmen at the Yenagoa Council City Hall, venue for the results collation exercise.
