Nigeria Goalkeeper Ikeme honoured to captain Wolves

Ikeme honoured to captain Wolves
Super Eagles goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, has said it was an honour to captain his English Championship team Wolverhampton Wanderers for the first time in Tuesday evening’s 3-0 League Cup loss to Middlesborough.However, the shot stopper was disappointed his team lost the game.

“Disappointing result tonight, but was an honour captaining the club for the first time,” africanFootball.com quoted Ikeme as saying on his Twitter handle.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper has been Wolves goalkeeper since 2003, but has been on loan to Middlesbrough, Leicester City, QPR, Sheffield United, Charlton Athletic, Stockport County, Accrington and Doncaster at different times.
He has been in Wolves since 2011/2012 season till now without going on loan.
