Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski scored five goals in nine minutes, including the fastest hat-trick in Bundesliga history, as his side beat VfL Wolfsburg 5-1 on Tuesday night.
The 27-year-old Polish striker came off the bench at half-time and hit three goals in four minutes, from the 51st to the 55th, before adding two more by the time the game was an hour old.
Lewandowski, who also became the first Bundesliga substitute to score five goals, said: "This was just crazy.
"Five goals, that's just unbelievable. I am very, very satisfied. This was a great evening for me."
Stunned Bayern coach Pep Guardiola told reporters: "This is something I have never experienced before.
"Robert has been a great player in Germany and the world for some time now."
The previous fastest hat-trick was scored by Duisburg's Michael Toennies in 1991 in a six-minute spell.
