Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Prince Arerebo Bodi, on Saturday, asked Tompolo to submit himself to the anti graft agency, the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for questioning.
Bodi said, it was important for the Ex-militant to honour the request of the commission, rather than push blame to the former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva and other chieftain of the party. He spoke at an event organised in his honour in Abuja.
Bodi, who is a member of APC Elders Forum in Bayelsa, added that Sylva was instrumental to the appointment of Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Heneiken Lokpobiri and Special Assistant to the President, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Gen. Paul Boro, thus, he would not lobby for such post as claimed by Tompolo.
He noted that the party was aware on antics of the ex-militant, especially in terms of vandalism with Tompolo’s followers.
“All what Tompolo has been saying about Timipre Sylva and leadership of the APC in Bayelsa state are frauds. The young man need to know properly who Timipre Sylva is and take into cognisance that Sylva is the one God used to make Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Heneiken Lokpobiri and Special Assistant to the President, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Gen. Paul Boro.
“So for Tompolo to accuse Sylva and APC leaders in the state as orchestrator od pipeline vandalism in Delta is false. And the allegation that Sylva wanted to get Ministerial position from the president and he did not go with him to visit the President and that’s why there is pipe line vandalism, that is also false.
