Nigeria premier league side Shooting Stars are expected to present to the public former Enyimba coach Kadiri Ikhana as their new coach on Friday.
Veteran coach Ikhana will replace Gbenga Ogunbote, who has moved to another premier league outfit, Giwa FC.
Last season, Ikhana led Enyimba to a seventh league championship in his second spell at the Aba club, but his contract was not renewed.
Shooting Stars finished ninth on the table with 53 points from 38 matches last season.
The former Nigeria women’s coach will be expected to steady ‘The Oluyole Warriors’ following the departure of several key players.
The former Nigeria international defender has previously handled Kano Pillars, Giwa FC and Nasarawa United among other clubs.
