Colchester defender stretchered off after head clash

Colchester United defender Alex Wynter was stretchered off following a sickening clash of heads with team-mate Tom Eastman.

Wynter was treated by medical staff from both Colchester and Spurs. Before being taken away Wynter appeared to be convulsing on the pitch.
Eastman had to receive treatment in the dressing room after suffering a cut head during the incident.
The game resumed after a four and a half minute delay.
Wynter was subsequently taken to hospital where is said to be sitting up and fine, having lost consciousness and suffered a seizure on the pitch.
