Former Arsenal and Chelsea defends makes MLS move

Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy have confirmed the signing of former England left-back Ashley Cole.

The defender was recently released by Roma after failing to make an impact in the Italian capital.

Cole started his career at Arsenal before moving to Chelsea. He has won the Premier League on four occasions.

He will join Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane at the Los Angeles club.

Ashley is one of the world’s most successful defenders and has played at the highest level of competition throughout his career.
